CBRNE ServicesThreats to business interests may arise from such diverse areas as commercial competition, climate change and changing legislation, but as noted by MI5 ‘tomorrow’s threat will include the use of chemicals, bacteriological agents, radioactive materials and even nuclear technology. These are commonly known as CBRN Agents. EMS has developed a proprietary assessment process to identify vulnerability of a site to security and business continuity threats including those arising from CBRNE. This vulnerability assessment process extends to the special requirements of ships and ports. In this particular arena we work with the experts from International Maritime Security (IMS). To consolidate the assessments we provide CBRNE Awareness Training for different levels of authority. Post an event, whether through a terrorist incident or a civil accident involving a toxic industrial chemical (TIC), EMS will decontaminate assets. |
