Ventilation Management

It is relatively easy to manage the cleaning requirements for a single ventilation duct. What happens, however, if there are hundreds of ventilation systems spread out through multiple sites? The answer is to use Ductclean’s Ventilation Management Program (VMP). V.M.P is a web-based application, which allows clients to view their entire portfolio of properties and highlights any risks in relation to their ventilation systems.

V.M.P. has been designed and developed to enable the management of any number of Ventilation systems over the entire range of a Client’s Portfolio. Essential information, such as the dates the systems are next due to be cleaned, is stored in such a way as to facilitate easy access. Colour coding is used to provide a quick visual reference as to the condition of each system or site at any given point in a five-year period.

Full reports can be generated showing the situation at the current time. The report includes all the information from the survey, including all recommendations and action taken. The main report sections are as follows:

V.M.P. is capable of storing pictures and video footage for each system and these can be viewed within the program itself. Please note that in the case of video the operating system of the computer used to access V.M.P. must also support the video file format. Closed circuit television camera footage shows clearly the internal condition of a duct before and after cleaning.

V.M.P. provides a tool to enable easy management of a Client’s ventilation systems. Both the current and future cleaning status is available at a glance. This results in a considerable saving in time and ensures any faults or problems are highlighted are the earliest possible opportunity.
